Moist, rich and fudge brownies swirled with creamy almond butter

- 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup turbinado sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup almond butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Generously grease either an 8×8 or 9×9 square pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium sized microwave safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate with the salted butter in 30 second increments, stirring in between each one until it’s all melted. Set aside to cool.
- Mix in the 2 sugars until dissolved or combined.
- Whisk in the eggs.
- In a separate small bowl, combine the flour and the cocoa powder and mix.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until the batter comes together. Batter will be thick.
- Scrape the batter into the greased pan and smooth out into all four corners until it is level.
- Drop small spoonfuls of the almond butter on top of the batter into different areas of the pan, then take a toothpick and gently swirl it around until you like how it looks.
- Bake the brownies for 25-27 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Enjoy!
