Ingredients

Scale

Homemade BBQ Sauce:

  • 1 ½ cups ketchup (no corn syrup preferably)
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅓ cup water, or more depending on desired consistency

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan, bring to a boil and then lower the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes, or until thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning or add some maple syrup if it’s too spicy or tart.
